Over a year and a half of time was spent making this DVD. The information on this DVD is as historically accurate as possible. Much of the information came from antique books and documents that date back to before and after the Civil War. Information also came from The Library of Congress in Washington D.C.. Their are several good books on the history of Savannah that were written in more recent times. Two of the best books I have read are “ Savannah Specters “ by Margaret Debolt and “ Savannah   People, Places & Events” by Ron Freeman. I have lived in Savannah almost all my life except for 8 months in Washington D.C.. Savannah is a unique city to have so much of it’s history still standing.
